PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector with improved appearance, that its lock state can be easily discriminated.SOLUTION: A card connector C has a card tray 10; a leaf spring 51; an engaging releasing slider 60; a return spring 70; and a tray positioning member 52. The card tray is slidable, and has a projection 11a and an engaging step part 11b for anti-loosening. The leaf spring is pressed by the projection of the card tray sliding toward an insertion direction, and is elastically deformed, the projection passes and releases the leaf spring from the elastic deformation state, and the leaf spring engages with the engaging step part thereby dropping-off of the card tray 10 is prevented. The engaging releasing slider is slidable, is pressed by a jig to slide toward the insertion direction, thereby the leaf spring is elastically deformed and is released from the engaging state. The return spring presses the engaging releasing slider toward an extraction direction. The tray positioning member is hold to the leaf spring, is biased in the extraction direction and abuts against an inner wall surface Eb of a housing E. |
