PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal dropping method which hardly causes liquid crystal contamination even in the case of using a liquid crystal material for a high-definition liquid crystal display element and under a high temperature-high humidity environment, and to provide a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element manufactured by using the sealing material.SOLUTION: A sealing agent for a liquid crystal dropping method contains a curable resin and a radical polymerization initiator. The curable resin contains ethoxylated isocyanuric acid triacrylate or ethoxylated isocyanuric acid trimethacrylate.
