PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle test method for simulating, on a track wheel, the running state of a railway vehicle on a rail-track whose cross-sectional form is different from the track wheel.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle 100 includes a truck frame 102 to which a pair of wheel shafts 103 is supported, with a pair of wheels 101 supported onto each wheel shaft around the axis line C2 thereof. A vehicle test method simulates the running state of the railway vehicle 100 by way of the running state of a truck frame in running on rails that allow two pairs of wheels to have passage irregularities in a state of the truck frame running on track wheels 11. The method includes: calculating a corrected passage irregularity change amount that is a temporal differential value of the passage irregularities, the amount being an amount of moving the track wheels in the width direction D so that the acceleration of the truck frame in the width direction and the yaw-angle acceleration of the truck frame at the time when the two pairs of wheels run on the track wheels are equal to a predetermined acceleration in the width direction and a predetermined yaw-angle acceleration, respectively; and causing the two pairs of wheels to run on the track wheels while moving the track wheels in the width direction on the basis of the corrected passage irregularity change amount. |
