PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust ball bearing capable of suppressing early wearing of a race, wearing of a holder and torque fluctuation by preventing the holder from being rotated together, even when the holder is brought into contact with a shaft.SOLUTION: A thrust ball bearing comprises: a pair of races 31, 32 which are formed annular, separated from each other in an axial direction and disposed in parallel; a plurality of balls 33 which are disposed between the pair of races 31, 32 so as to free roll; and a holder 34 which is disposed between the pair of races 31, 32 and holds the plurality of balls 33 approximately at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. The holder 34 includes an inner diameter surface 35 applying chamfering 35a to both end portions in the axial direction, or an inner diameter surface 36 which is expanded inside in a radial direction, and of which the cross section is arcuate. |
