PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building of a new structure, which can enhance aseismatic performance without deteriorating the convenience and design of an opening.SOLUTION: In a building 10 having an opening section 18 provided with an earthquake strengthening structure, a reinforcing rod member 26 is arranged in a storage position 30 at the edge of the opening section 18. The reinforcing rod member 26 is shifted to a reinforcement position 112 to be elongated astride the opening section 18 from the storage position 30 on the basis of earthquake information acquired by earthquake information acquisition means 86, and both ends 55 and 60 are fixed to the edge of the opening section 18. |
