PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aggregation state detection device capable of detecting an aggregation state of treatment water in the process of water purification quickly and accurately.SOLUTION: An aggregation state detection device includes: an aggregation sedimentation separation means 100 which classifies flocks in aggregation sedimentation treatment water in which a coagulant containing aluminum is added by a grain size of the flock; an addition means which adds a reagent for measuring aluminum and a buffer solution to the classification treatment water acquired in the aggregation sedimentation separation means; a mixing means which mixes the classification treatment water; an absorbance meter which measures absorbance of a reaction liquid; and a conversion means which converts the absorbance of the reaction liquid measured by the absorbance meter into an aluminum concentration in the reaction liquid. The aggregation sedimentation separation means 100 is an inclined tube 100 in which a cylindrical tube provided with an inlet port 110 of the aggregation sedimentation treatment water at a lower part and an outlet port 120 of the classification treatment water at an upper part is installed being inclined with respect to the gravitational direction.
