The invention relates to a method for cleaning flue gas (10), which is fed to a filtering separator (12), wherein the filtering separator (12) is accommodated in a housing (13), and the housing (13) has a pre-filter side (14) before the filtering separator (12) and a clean side (15) after the filtering separator (12). According to the invention, a filter element (16) having an adsorbent (17) is arranged on the clean side (15) of the housing (13) and the flue gas (10) flows through the adsorbent (17) in the filter element (16), whereby harmful substances from the group at least comprising mercury and/or dioxin and/or furan and/or further heavy metals are removed from the flue gas (10). |
