The device (15) has a measuring module (16) for determining a total pressing force. Pressure bolts (9) upwardly project at the measuring module, and include force sensors (17) for determining force distribution in a surface. The device is attached on a pressing table. A plunger cushion transfers the pressing force from an adjustable pressing plunger into the pressure bolts of a top tool during pressing process. An evaluating unit (18) is connected with the force sensors, and stores and evaluates force-measurement values.
