The system (1) has a housing in which vacuum is generated, and a flat detector (8) including detector elements for detecting a focus (F) of x-ray radiation. An x-ray tube (3) includes a rotary anode (4) and a cathode, where the cathode generates free electrons (e-) in the vacuum. The rotary anode is arranged and fixed in the X-ray system, where a surface of the rotary anode used for generating X-ray radiation is positioned to extend all along a focus path such that projection directions of the generated X-ray radiation cover an angular range of 10 degrees.
