<p>Disclosed are an overpower protection method and device for a PA, which are used to realize more complete overpower protection for a PA. The method not only includes an existing statistical energy protection mechanism, but also includes: aiming at the in-phase component and quadrature component data of phase and amplitude signals of each antenna, which have undergone DUC, CFR and DPD processing, calculating the sum of the energy value of the in-phase component data and the energy value of the quadrature component data of the phase and amplitude signals within each second time length respectively, so as to obtain second sum values; and comparing the second sum values with a preset second power protection threshold value, and when the second sum value of any antenna is greater than the preset second power protection threshold value, clearing the in-phase component and quadrature component data of the phase and amplitude signals within the second time length to zero and then sending same to a PA, wherein the second time length is smaller than 1 chip, thereby realizing more complete overpower protection for the PA.</p> |
