According to an embodiment, the present invention comprises a step of dispersing carbon nanotubes in a mixed solution containing a solvent, carbon nanotubes, and a dispersant, wherein the carbon nanotubes include semiconductive carbon nanotubes; and the dispersant comprises a polythiophene derivative including a thiophene ring and a hydrocarbon side chain linked to the thiophene ring. The hydrocarbon side chain includes a C7 or more alkyl group. The hydrocarbon side chain can be regularly arranged over space, and the semiconductive carbon nanotubes are selectively separated from the mixed solution. An electronic device includes semiconductive carbon nanotubes and the above-mentioned polythiophene derivative.
