Mounting system

A flat panel display screen mounting system that is capable of connecting the screen to a support arm, the system including a finger clip that provides quick connectability to the end of a support arm. The clip has a first and second linkage member pivotally attached to each end respectively. The opposite end of each linkage member is pivotally attached to a mount plate. The mount plate includes an extension with a flanged head portion that extends orthogonally from its front face. A flat panel connector plate is attachable to the rear of a flat panel display and is arranged to be releasably attachable to the extension. In use a user has the option to remove the flat panel by removing the connector plate from the extension, or by removing the system from the end of the support arm by operating the clip.
