An apparatus (10) for delivering a compound includes a reservoir (22) containing a compound (24) to be delivered to the environment of use. The compound (24) includes fragrances and insecticides. A compound permeable substrate (30) includes a wick (32) which extends from the substrate (30) into the reservoir (22). A centrifugal fan (46) is operatively associated with the compound permeable substrate (30) to force air over the substrate when the fan is operational. A cover (50) is disposed over the centrifugal fan (46) in which the cover (50) has at least one aperture (52) on a top surface and provides for a side air passage (60) from the centrifugal fan to the environment. |
