PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a stabilizer, and a heater, in which, even when a cross section change hollow material is used as a raw material, the whole of the hollow material is easy to be uniformly heated to a temperature necessary to perform heat treatment.SOLUTION: In a preliminary heat process, electric heating is performed between electrodes 211A, 211B disposed at cross section change parts 114A, 115A of both endpoint parts of a large cross section area part 113A. Heating of the large cross section area part 113A between the electrodes 211A, 211B can be performed. In the total heat process, electric heating is performed between electrodes 212, 212 disposed at both endpoint parts of a cross section change hollow material 100A, so that the total of the cross section change hollow material 100A between the electrodes 212, 212 can be heated. In the preliminary heat process, electric heating is preferably performed in a part in which a cross section area ratio with a part in which a cross section area is large in a cross section change part is at least 90%. |
