PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast program reservation video-recording device capable of correctly detecting subsequent programs when the video-recording of a program to be broadcast more than once is reserved.SOLUTION: When the reservation of video-recording a program to be broadcast more than once is instructed, a microcomputer 17 searches the subsequent episodes of a reservation-instructed episode from program data 47 to be given from a program data extraction unit 16. When subsequent episodes are detected, a reservation information storage unit 18 stores broadcast time period information of an episode with the shortest broadcast time, for example, in broadcast time period information of a reservation-instructed episode and subsequent episodes as reference broadcast time period information. Whenever the video-recording of each episode is completed, a subsequent episode is searched on the basis of reference broadcast time period information. Then, a reservation information updating unit 22 updates reservation information. |
