PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club that shows stable behavior during the swing, and is readily operable by general golfers at all skill levels.SOLUTION: The golf club is provided with a clubhead 2 having a front hitting area 21. The clubhead 2 has a center of gravity G on a vertical plane F containing an axis A of a shaft 3. The clubhead 2 includes a head body 10 connected with the shaft 3, and a face 20 fixed to the head body 10. The face 20 is oriented such that a face angle &thetas; of the clubhead 2 defines a closed face. |
