PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of preventing reduction in contact determination accuracy and a driving method of the display device.SOLUTION: A display device including display pixels PX in matrix arrangement and a sensor circuit 12 that detects magnitude of capacity coupling includes: a plurality of reading lines ROL that are arranged in a row direction and are connected to the sensor circuit to hold a detection signal; a plurality of conversion circuits OCT that are connected in parallel and select the plurality of reading lines in sequence so as to output a detection signal; and a control unit TCON that operates the plurality of conversion circuits in parallel and controls the plurality of conversion circuits so that a timing of outputting detection signals from adjacent ones of the reading lines is within a predetermined period of time. |
