PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition showing equilibrium between good oxidation stability and low sludge formation.SOLUTION: Alkyl substituted phenyl-α-naphthylamine and oil-soluble triazole or triazole derivative are mixed to oil with lubrication viscosity. This composition shows 25%, 50%, and 25% of residual RPVOT at 120°C after at least 500 hrs, 700 hrs, and 1000 hrs testing time, respectively, on Dry TOST experiment. |
