PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator that suppresses an air compressing sound that is generated when a car of the elevator moves up, to reduce a noise level at a car stop and the inside of the car.SOLUTION: The elevator includes: a header case erected toward a hoistway side in an upper part of a landing doorway that is opened in a wall surface of a hoistway of the car and accommodating a hanger mechanism that slidably suspends a landing door panel for opening and closing the landing doorway; and a header cover provided on a side of a header case surface facing the car that moves up and down through the hoistway, and covering the inside of the header case. A lower end of the header cover is shaped so as to extend in a horizontal direction while changing a vertical height thereof. |
