PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing resin molding from which yellow discoloration is removed from yellowed resin molding, and resin molding from which yellow discoloration is removed.SOLUTION: A yellowing removing method of resin molding has: a process of measuring a yellowing degree of yellowed resin molding; and a process of polishing the surface of the resin molding corresponding to the yellowing degree of the yellowed resin molding. The process of polishing the surface of the yellowed resin molding has: a process of measuring polished resin molding surface during polishing; and a process of controlling continuation and stop of polishing based on a result of the measurement. In the case where color difference &Dgr;b* between yellowed resin molding and a new component in L*a*b* color system is smaller than 10, a polishing depth should be 50 μm. In the case where color difference &Dgr;b* is 10 or more, a polishing depth should be 200 μm. |
