PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller capable of keeping a shape of a roller part stable and preventing the roller from bursting for a long period of time, and cutting production cost by reducing unused parts of a base material and making effective use of the base material, and a washing apparatus on which the roller is mounted at low cost.SOLUTION: A roller 21 includes a pedestal 25, stops 27, plates 28, and a roller part 22 formed out of one module unit 23. The pedestal 25 is made of a metal material such as iron and generally cylindrical, and the roller part 22 is formed on an outer circumference of the pedestal 25. In the roller part 22, the module unit 23 formed by alternately stacking generally annular roller pieces 26 and roller members 24 each of a combination of quarter partial constituent pieces 30a and 30b and by integrally bonding the roller pieces 26 and the roller members 24 is attached to the stops 27 and the plates 28 while being put between the stops 27 and the plates 28 on both sides of the module unit 23. Snap rings are used as the stops 27. |
