The present invention relates to a device for removing an overlapped target in a vessel traffic service and to the device for removing the overlapped target in the vessel traffic service which processes and arranges circular radar images produced in each radar without an area in which the circular radar images are overlapped and does not recognize an identical target in duplicate. Disclosed the device for removing the overlapped target in the vessel traffic service comprising; a radar image input part which receives first and second radar images produced by scanning radar in predetermined first and second areas to perform the vessel traffic service; an image processing part which processes the first and second radar images as a polygon image so that an overlapped image area is not generated when the first radar and second images are arrange on the same plane; an overlapped target removing part which makes that the identical target is not recognized in duplicate in the overlapped image area as the target existing in the overlapped image area is included in one image among polygon images.
