摘要

[Problem] To provide an alkaline phosphatase that can exhibit, even after the modification, an activity equivalent to the activity of unmodified alkaline phosphatase in an immunoassay. More specifically, to provide an alkaline phosphatase that shows, in an immunoassay, no reduction in the activity after introducing a maleimide group thereinto by using various maleimide reagents which are used in synthesizing alkali phosphatase conjugates. [Solution] A modified alkaline phosphatase wherein a lysine residue positioned in the vicinity of the activity center of alkaline phosphatase has been substituted by another amino acid residue.
