A PORTABLE NURSING BAG 5 This invention relates in general to a portable nursing bag and in particular, to a portable nursing device which can be carried easily and can include baby care devices. The nursing bag adapted to be configured as a handbag, the nursing bag comprising: a shell defining an enclosed cavity with spaced apart first and second ends and an interior surface and an exterior 10 surface; a pillow located within a void within the shell of the nursing bag, wherein the pillow is padded for providing yielding support for an infant; a padded lower section of the shell adapted to allow the nursing bag to be supported on the user's lap when in use; at least two loops disposed on the periphery of the pillow; at least one elongated flexible member releasably 15 secured at the first and second ends to the shell for encircling the waist of a user; a fastener associated with the elongated member for enabling the elongated member at its ends to be releasably secured to the first and second ends of the shell; a compartment located within a lower section or base of the cavity for housing a baby-care product; and wherein the pillow is adapted to be 20 removable from the cavity, such that the pillow can be used both internally within the cavity and externally outside of the cavity.
