PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can prevent sheet scraping of a prism sheet while preventing occurrence of an emission line.SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device equipped with a backlight device having a first prism sheet PS1 in which a formation surface of a prism is an emergent surface side of backlight and a second prism sheet PS2 arranged in contact with a rear surface of the first prism sheet PS1, the first prism sheet PS1 protrudes in an outer circumferential direction and has at least two first protrusions TB1 to be fixed to a light shielding tape. The first protrusion TB1 is respectively formed on an opposite side where a side near a light source is not included and, of the opposite side, is respectively formed in the vicinity of a diagonal of a direction orthogonal to a formation direction of the prism. The second prism sheet PS2 is respectively formed in the vicinity of two corner parts sharing the side near the light source and has a second protrusion part TB2 protruding on a light source side. The second protrusion part TB2 is configured to be fixed to the light shielding tape. |
