PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of preventing a reflecting member from warping even when the number of fixing members fixing the reflecting member is decreased, and a display device including the luminaire.SOLUTION: A backlight unit 1 is provided with: a light emission part 111; a printed board 12 provided with the light emission part 111; a frame member 13 which comes into contact with a back 12d of the printed board 12; a fixing member 101 which fixes the printed board 12 to the frame member 13; and a reflecting member 118 which reflects light emitted from a light emission part 111 toward a body to be irradiated where the reflecting member is exposed to the light emission part 111 and is close to or in contact with a back 12d of the printed board 12 between the printed board 12 and frame member 13, the reflecting member being provided extending over the frame member 12.
