PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power circuit and an air conditioner therewith which improve efficiency in a light load condition.SOLUTION: A power circuit includes: a power factor improvement circuit (PFC circuit 130); a bypass circuit (RY1) for bypassing the power factor improvement circuit 130; and a control section (microcomputer 120) for switching on the basis of a load condition between a first control state to operate the power factor improvement circuit 130 and control off the bypass circuit (RY1) and a second control state to stop the power factor improvement circuit 130 and bypass the power factor improvement circuit 130 via the bypass circuit (RY1). Preferably, the control section selects the first control state in a first load condition and selects the second control sate in a second load condition loaded more lightly than the first load condition. |
