PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving mechanism which achieves reduction in size with a simple configuration and can successively select photographic magnification during a variable power operation.SOLUTION: A lens moving mechanism includes: a cam follower 74 for holding a variator 71; a cam follower 75 for holding a compensator 72; disc-shaped cam portions 32, 33 being in contact with the cam follower 74, having a rotational axis perpendicular to the movement direction of the cam follower 74, and having gear teeth on their outer peripheries; an idle gear 80 having a portion to be engaged with the gear teeth formed on the outer periphery of the cam portion 32 and a portion to be engaged with the gear teeth formed on the outer periphery of the cam portion 33; a vibrator 10A for rotating and driving the cam portion 32; and a vibrator 10B for causing the idle gear 80 to revolve around the rotational axis of the cam portions 32, 33. |
