Provided is a flexible tube used to load fluid from a floating facility at sea into a tanker, suitable for transporting cryogenic fluid such as LNG, and capable of quickly and reliably detecting leakage of the fluid in the tube. Also provided is a structure for detecting leakage of fluid in a tube. A water impermeable and heat insulating layer (11) is provided on the outer periphery of a heat insulating layer (9). The water impermeable and heat insulating layer (11), together with the heat insulating layer (9), thermally insulates between LNG flowing in a corrugated tube (3) and the outside of a flexible tube (1). Differently from the heat insulating layer (9), the water impermeable and heat insulating layer (11) has poor liquid permeability, and fluid such as LNG scarcely permeates the water impermeable and heat insulating layer (11). That is, the water impermeable and heat insulating layer (11) has a role as a water impermeable layer between the inside and outside of the water impermeable and heat insulating layer (11). |
