PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow turbine capable of reducing a pressure loss while restraining vibration accompanied with vibration of a bearing in an exhaust chamber.SOLUTION: An axial flow turbine 10 in an embodiment comprises: a turbine section rotary-driven by working fluid flowing in a direction along a turbine rotor 22; and an exhaust chamber 30 having an annular exhaust flow passage 33 formed between an inner cylinder 31 arranged around the turbine rotor 22 in a turbine rotor axial direction and an exhaust casing 32 arranged so as to surround an outer periphery of the inner cylinder 31. Furthermore, the axial flow turbine comprises: a strut 50a provided between the inner cylinder 31 and the exhaust casing 32 and supporting the inner cylinder 31 perpendicularly from below; and a strut 50b provided in a radial direction between the inner cylinder 31 and the exhaust casing 32 from a perpendicular lower position to a horizontal direction position of the inner cylinder 31 provided with the strut 50a, and having a circumferential thickness smaller than that of the strut 50a. |
