PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of suppressing corrosion of a main body metal fitting even when a crack occurs in a plated layer on the main body metal fitting by caulking.SOLUTION: A caulking part 55 provided on a rear end side of a main body metal fitting 50 is covered with a metal sacrificial corrosive member 90 having a substantially annular shape and larger ionization tendency than the caulking part. Accordingly, even if a crack occurs in an Ni-plated layer formed on the caulking part 55 by external pressure such as caulking, the sacrificial corrosive member 90 being a separate body from the Ni-plated layer is electrically conducted with the main body metal fitting 50 through an electrical conduction material such as saline water causing wetting, and is preferentially corroded in comparison to the main body metal fitting 50 so that the corrosion of the main body metal fitting 50 can be suppressed. |
