PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the manufacturability and a compression rate of gas, while ensuring the strength of a spiral wall in a scroll having a stepped spiral wall.SOLUTION: A scroll type compressor 10 includes a fixed scroll 18 equipped with a fixed side spiral wall 24 having a first stepped portion 44; and a moving scroll 20 having a moving side spiral wall 58 engaged with the fixed side spiral wall 24 and having a second stepped portion. On a fixed side substrate portion 22 of the fixed scroll 18, first and second fixed side bottom surface portions 34 and 36 having different height are formed. Second corner Rs 54a and 54b formed at a boundary portion between the second fixed side bottom surface portion 36 and the fixed side spiral wall 24 are formed to be larger than first corner Rs 52a and 52b formed at a boundary portion between the first fixed side bottom surface portions 34 and the fixed side spiral wall 24. |
