PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polypropylene film as a protection film which is excellent in detachability and produces less contamination, void, and air void and/or as a non silicone separator film thereof.SOLUTION: A biaxially oriented polypropylene film contains a layer formed by a polypropylene resin having melt flow rate of 1.5 g/10 min. to 6.0 g/10 min. and surface roughness of at least one of the surfaces of the layer is (a) 0.03 to 0.10 μm as a center line roughness (Ra) and (b) 0.3 μm to 1.0 μm as a maximum height (Rmax), the number of fish eyes with size (major axis) of greater than 50 μm is 100/mor less and the thickness of the layer is 5 μm to 60 μm. |
