PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a delay in response between a slewing motor and a brake device.SOLUTION: A slewing work machine includes a slewing motor 7 as a slewing drive source for a slewing upper structure and a parking brake 12 for engaging and disengaging brake for the slewing motor 7, disengages the brake when a slewing operation lever 10 is operated and engages the brake when the lever is not operated. The machine is further configured to detect an operating oil temperature with an oil temperature sensor 18 and allow a delay in an operating instruction to the slewing motor 7 in accordance with the detected operating oil temperature. |
