PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for durability testing a brittle plate that is capable of accurately discriminating between a non-defective and a defective item.SOLUTION: A method for durability testing a brittle plate, includes: a first step in which the brittle plate 10 is bent and deformed along a circumference of a first test roll 110 and a reverse face of the brittle plate 10 is applied with tensile stress, by using the first test roll 110 in contact with a front face of the brittle plate 10 and multiple pressing rolls 111 and 112 disposed along the circumference of the first test roll 110 to interpose and feed the brittle plate 10; and a second step in which the brittle plate 10 is bent and deformed along a circumference of a second test roll 120 and the front face of the brittle plate 10 is applied with tension stress, by using the second test roll 120 in contact with the reverse face of the brittle plate 10 and multiple dispatching rolls 121 and 122 disposed along the circumference of the second test roll 120 to interpose and feed the brittle plate 10. |
