Carbon fibre torque transmission device

A torque transmission device for e.g. brakes, drive unit or gearbox clutch incorporates frictional lamella (1,3) made of carbon fibre material. After a period of use has elapsed resulting in wear, the lamella are re-worked both on their flat surfaces and in the vicinity of their engagement teeth (9,10). The matching components (8,11) in the torque transmission device are commensurately adjusted to the new geometry. The counterpart may be manufactured completely new.
