PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning jig for attaching escalator guard plate capable of enhancing efficiency of attachment work a fix protection plate.SOLUTION: A positioning jig for attaching an escalator guard plate used in installation a fix protection plate 4 to a delta portion 3 of the escalator comprises: a horizontal member 6 extending outer in width direction of a moving handrail 1 and horizontal direction from the moving handrail 1; a vertical member 7 that extends in vertical direction from the horizontal member 6 position outer of the width direction of the moving handrail 1 and specifies position apart predetermined distance C towards the upper vertical direction from the moving handrail 1, wherein an overlap part with a specified position by the vertical member 7 in upper floor side floor 2 provided with the fix protection plate 4 is reference position D provided with the fix protection plate 4. |
