PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing gear which facilitates truing of an abrasive grain layer and measurement of tooth profile accuracy even when a module is small, and which enables dressing by a usual gear honing machine without requiring a synchronization system.SOLUTION: In a dressing gear, a plurality of teeth 2 are provided at equal intervals on the outer periphery of a gear body 1 rotated about an axis line O, and an abrasive grain layer 3 is formed on the surface of each tooth 2 by fixing abrasive grains thereon. The gear body 1 is constituted by a plurality of gear members 1A and 1B which are divided in an attachable/detachable manner in the direction of the axis line O. On the outer peripheries of the gear members 1A and 1B, the teeth 2 are provided at intervals which are each an integral multiple equal to or more than two times of an interval between the teeth 2 provided on the outer periphery of the gear body 1. The plurality of gear members 1A and 1B are coaxially connected in the axis line O with the phases of their teeth 2 shifted from each other, and thereby the plurality of teeth 2 are provided at equal intervals on the outer periphery of the gear body 1. |
