The valve plate (10) is pressed against a throughflow opening by a spring locating against an abutment. With the valve, the guide member (11) is movably fitted with its two ends in holes provided in holding members (6) fixed to the housing. In the flow direction (19) of the medium flowing through the valve, in front of the valve plate, at least one guide component (16,17) is arranged, through which at least one partial deflection of the flowing medium out of its inflow direction to the valve is effected. As guide component a guide plate inclined in relation to the longitudinal axis (18) of the valve is provided.
