An endoscope system comprises: an endoscope (1) which is inserted into a subject; a curved part (2w) which is provided on the endoscope (1) and is electrically driven; a control device (15) which outputs a control signal that performs control of driving the curved part (2w); and a drive cable (20) which can be attached to and detached from the endoscope (1) and the control device (15), and which has a motor (21) therein that is driven on the basis of the control signal output from the control device (15) and that applies a driving force to the curved part (2w) via a flexible shaft (30). |
