<p>This rotational position detection device has: measurement gears (62) that mesh with drive gears (32) and have a different number of teeth than the drive gears; drive gear sensors (67) that detect one location in the circumferential direction of the drive gears (32); and measurement gear sensors (64) that detect one location in the circumferential direction of the measurement gears (62). When a drive gear (32) is at the origin position, the measurement gear (62) also is at the origin position, and both sensors (67), (64) are in the detection state. When a drive gear (32) rotates from the origin position by exactly 360° × n and the drive gear sensor (67) is in the detection state, the measurement gear (62) rotates from the origin position by an amount exceeding 360° × m, and the measurement gear sensor (64) is in a state in which detection is not possible.</p> |
