RIVER BANK PROTECITON METHOD HAVING WATER-PURIFYING FUNCTION

Disclosed is a natural shore protection method having a water purifying function enabling a non-point pollutant source introduced from road and agricultural land to be efficiently processed. The present invention includes the following steps of: installing a non-woven fabric on a slope of a river in order to prevent rear surface water from being discharged and prevent earth and sand from being swept away; installing a gabion configured of multiple gabion units by a diaphragm on the non-woven fabric; installing a water blocking pocket in each gabion unit; filling the water blocking pocket with crushed stones; and installing a vegetative burlap bag on the water blocking pocket and the gabion. The multiple gabion units and the water blocking pockets installed therein are installed on an inclined surface in a stepped manner, and anaerobic or aerotropic microscopic organism proliferates on the crushed stones filling the water blocking pocket.
