An opening/closing device and a brake apparatus using the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost and to reduce weight by forming a capsule in a liquid chamber of a body. An opening/closing device comprises a body(110), a spool(160), and an operation unit(200). The body has a stator, an armature(140), an inlet(114), and an outlet(116). The stator is placed in the body. The armature is assembled at a lower part of the stator to be slid using an elastic member(130). The inlet and the outlet are connected to a sealed liquid chamber(112). A filter member(170) is formed at a periphery of the inlet of the body to filter operation oil. The spool is placed at the liquid chamber of the body to open or close the outlet of the body, and has a discharge path to shaft direction. The operation unit connects the armature and the spool, and closes the outlet or the discharge path by using elastic supporting force of the elastic member or opens the discharge path using liquid pressure of the operation oil. The operation unit is magnetized when external power is supplied, and opens the outlet using the armature. |
