PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of enhancing flexibility of a stress design of tempered glass even without changing a tempered glass material.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing tempered glass comprises: ion-exchanging glass for temper to obtain the tempered glass having a compressive stress layer; and heat-treating the tempered glass at a heat treatment temperature of 300°C and more, and less than (an ion exchange treatment temperature+10°C) so that a compressive stress value (CS) of the compressive stress layer is 120-1200 MPa.
