PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reference and an output of image data received through facsimile machine without reducing remaining memory capacity.SOLUTION: An information processing method comprises: discriminating a case where image data of a facsimile job are left even after the image data are transferred to an information processing apparatus from a case where the image data are not left; storing the image data of the facsimile job in a first storage area of a memory area when it is discriminated that the image data are to be left even after transfer of the image data to the information processing apparatus, and storing the image data in a second storage area of the memory area when it is discriminated that the image data of the facsimile job are not left after transfer of the image data to the information processing apparatus; and securing a free area of the second storage area produced by transfer of the image data as an extension area for data other than the image data after transfer of the image data stored in the second storage area to the information processing apparatus. |
