PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dosage counter for a medicine that is administered with or remains in a metered dose inhaler.SOLUTION: A dosage counter comprises: a first gear wheel 30 that has circumferentially-arranged ratchet teeth 32; a display unit that is connected to the first gear wheel, is capable of interlocking in response to rotational movement of the first gear wheel and has a list of dosage count marks; an actuator mechanism 118 that has a first ratchet drive claw for engaging with the ratchet teeth of the first gear wheel in response to administration of a dose of medicine; and a second ratchet drive claw 132 for engaging with ratchet teeth of a gear wheel connected to the display unit. In the actuator mechanism, when the dosage counter is used, the first ratchet teeth of the first gear wheel are engaged with the first ratchet claw and are rotatively driven, and the second ratchet teeth of the gear wheel 130 connected to the display unit are engaged with the second ratchet drive claw and are rotatively driven. |
