PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly secure a post to be connected to a conductor circuit located under it. SOLUTION: A post-connection type printed wiring board has such a structure that an upper and a lower conductor layer are electrically connected through a metal block-like post 108. To manufacture the post-connection type printed wiring board, first a copper film for a lower-layer circuit 102 is formed at a part of an insulator layer 101, where a post is to be formed and a feeding film 103 made of electroless copper plating for electrolytic plating of the post is formed on the insulator layer 101 and on the copper film. Before forming a post using plating resist, an opening 105 for plating a post is formed in the plating resist, and the feeding film exposed on the bottom of the opening is dissolved with a chemical for removing, and a part of the copper film for a lower-layer circuit 102 is removed, and then an electrolytic copper plating is conducted to form a post 108 in the opening 105. |
