PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate extraction of two users with a high possibility of becoming friends in the future regardless of the presence/absence of joining into community or the presence/absence of communication.SOLUTION: Acceleration data on walking actions of a plurality of users are measured by portable terminals respectively and then transmitted to a server device. The server device receives the acceleration data transmitted from the portable terminals and stores the data (S12), and calculates a walking cycle for each user on the basis of the acceleration data after the acceleration data for a predetermined period are stored (S14). Walking cycles between two users selected arbitrarily from among the plurality of users are compared (S17). When two users whose walking cycles match within a range of a prescribed difference are found as a result of comparison, a message recommending the two users for each other as friends is generated and transmitted to portable terminals of the users, respectively (S18 and S19).
