PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To irradiate uniform light without void of center and with high intensity when the light from a light source is converged by a reflection mirror to be made incident on a light guide, and irradiates from its light outgoing end part. SOLUTION: This reflection mirror is constituted so that plural sections (P1 -P4 ) of rotary elliptic mirror are collected, and respective sections (P1 -P4 ) are arranged so as to surround a common focal point (F0 ) overlapping respective first focal points on one point, and are arranged so that respective second focal points (F21 -F24 ) are placed on different points. At this time, when the section of a shape not intersecting with the major axis of the rotary elliptic mirror is used as each section, since the reflection light of the light source 2 arranged on the first focal point (f0 ) are converged on the second focal points (F21 -F24 ) without being obstructed by the light source 2, the void of center is prevented. Further, by shortening a distance between focal points of the rotary elliptic mirrors of the reflection mirror 3 forming respective sections (P1 -P4 ), a light source device 1 is miniaturized, and light converging density in respective second focal points (F21 -F24 ) are enhanced, and the light intensity outgoing from the light guide 4 is enhanced. |
