PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic surgical microscope capable of securing a favorable illumination state for patient's eyes during surgery and especially, illuminating (red reflection) a crystalline lens from the back plane, and allowing an operator to perform a cataract operation and the like under favorable illumination conditions.SOLUTION: The ophthalmic surgical microscope comprises: an illumination optical system for applying illumination light emitted from an illumination light source to a patient's eye; and an observation optical system for observing the patient's eye illuminated by the illumination light. The illumination optical system includes change means for changing an image formation state of the illumination light applied to the patient's eye. |
